Things I want to steal...

My sister-in-law, Candyce, is so super stylish..I love her house!  The last time I stopped by she had done some re-decorating.  I had to really watch myself...so that I didn't either steal her stuff {like her awesome chair} or make my house look exactly like hers.  I did leave with a lucky prize, though.  She gave me the ottoman that goes with her awesome chair!  I'll post some pics when I get my Great Room done.

This is a marble tile that her husband {my brother} brought back for her after a long business trip to New York.  It has these little gold flecks in it that sparkle when the sun hits it right.

Her awesome chair.  It has an awesome pillow, too.  She found this lovely for $150, too, which makes it all the more awesome!  Seeing her pillow inspired me to get myself in gear and finish some projects I've had on the burner for decades!  I have some vintage prints that I am going to have printed on fabric and sew them into throw pillows...horses, to be exact...for my pony-crazy 7 year old.

And, no, it's not an optical illusion...there is a plastic blue ball under the chair.  Those kinds of things are guaranteed when you have babe's at home.  Her baby is 16 months now.  Adorable Stella...you'll see her at the end of this post.

Love gallery walls.  The varied frames look fantastic.  So do the mixes of black and white photos with the sepia toned art and color photos.  She has that touch that makes it all perfect.

This green couch is super fab!  I need to have her send a full picture of it so that you can be wowed!  It's one of those pieces that when you see it in the store, you look at it and say {out loud} "I need that!"  But then you chicken out because you are certain you could not make it look cool in your house.  Candyce makes it look...super fab...like I said!
